As many of you know, I let my online writing presence fall away several years ago. A divorce, new house, new job, and Covid all hit me in the exact same year!
For that reason, I let my website go. I just couldn't afford it anymore.
I also let my FB Author page go, as I had no website to direct it toward.
I spent many years writing very little (though I did manage to write a new stage play in that time.). I spent seven+ years teaching high school English and coming home too exhausted to even consider marketing my books and plays.1
I have since changed my entire life: new wife, new location, new dedication to my writing.
My 1st novel, "The Mists of Many Voices" needed work. I am happy to report that I am more than halfway through a complete rewrite of that manuscript. The new edition will feature some new characters who help guide the reader through the story. I am also editing and rewriting to streamline some of the more elevated language to make the story easier to understand, and streamlining some of the more complex plot points. The new, easier to read edition should release in the Autumn of this year.
I am also working on new editions of my Y.A. Sci-fi novel, "Orphan Tribe, Orphan Planet", and my collection of horror stories, "The Tale of the Torso". These are just a simple re-edits to correct egregious typos.
In addition to this, I am actively working on a NEW book of horror short stories!
BIG NEWS: I have applied to have a booth at MegaCon 2027 for my books and plays, as well as some carefully crafted new merchandise to complement, supplement, and enhance my Author brand! If accepted, I will offer my books (obviously) along with new t-shirts, stickers, buttons, and posters featuring artwork by my amazing wife and quotes from my books and plays!
As part of a new marketing strategy, I am attempting to figure out TikTok (I have some fairly bad videos on there, with more coming as I figure out the platform and the editing.) Soon, I will also link an Instagram page to this and TikTok. I will never be on X, so don't bother looking there.
Finally, I have this new website that is currently being revised and reconstructed on a daily basis. It is basic for now, but I'm working daily to get it into a condition that will make it easy to find my works.
